Attend Earth Ball 2009

This Friday, June 19th, DC’s environmental community is coming together to celebrate recent accomplishments, mingle and have some fun. The event, co-sponsored by CityRenewed.com, will feature drinks, food, music, organization booths and much more. If you care about the environment and live in the DC metr0-area, you’ve go to be at Earth Ball 2009.
Tickets are only $25 and all proceeds benefit urban garden programs in DC’s low-income neighborhoods. In addition to food, drinks and entertainment, your ticket entitles you to a gift bag, film screenings and a raffle.
The event runs from 6:00pm to midnight and will be held at the Mott House at 122 Maryland Ave. NE. To purchase tickets, simply go CarbonfreeDC’s Reservation Page. For more information on Earth Ball, visit the official website.
This is sure to be the start of an annual tradition in DC, make sure you are part of the very first Earth Ball.
