DDOE Helps Businesses Be Greener

It’s no secret that running a business in DC means you have to be eco-conscious. The District has strict rules about recycling and now requires new buildings to be LEED certified. For those running a business in DC, the growing number of environmental regulations might be overwhelming. To help, the District Department of the Environment has created a guide for businesses.
The guide is good for anyone working in DC, not just business owners. The guide breaks down information about environmental rules by industry like: dry cleaners, hospitals, nail salons, etc. It also gives links to the specific rules and regulations governing businesses, as well as resources that might help businesses improve their environmental operations.
