Put Money on Your Smart Trip Card at CVS

2559463907_42e3398479Unfortunately, my employer doesn’t automatically put money on my Metro Smart Card for public transportation, so I’m excited that now CVS and Giant are allowing card holders to add money to the card in their stores. This is a major change for bus riders and anyone who hates standing in line behind tourists in the metro.

You can find a list of participating stores on Metro’s website. CVS already has a ton of participating locations, Giant promises to expand the number of participating stores throughout the summer. Read the full Metro press release on the change HERE.
