Green Business Profile Wednesday: Clean Currents
To change things up a bit, I decided that this week, I would look for a service-based green business.
Clean Currents LLC is a clean energy broker, which serves in a number of areas including DC. This company was started to protect the environment, improve efficiency, and most of all, fight global warming.
In particular, they help people and companies switch to green energy resources by installing solar panels, providing C-Green electricity (a combination of standard and renewable), and offering consulting services to architects.
Their site, www.cleancurrents.com, even has a carbon footprint calculator! Also, be sure to check out the “Clean Currency Credit Card,” because for every transition you make, Clean Currents will contribute 2 cents to clean energy, making the future a better place to live.
