When I see a business or organization doing something good for the environment, I often think…’They should be recognized for making the planet a priority.’ Unfortunately, it seems like we hear more about the bad stuff going on in our community than we do about the good stuff. Now you have a chance to highlight some green efforts you’ve noticed around town.
Applications to nominate a group or business for the Mayor’s Environmental Excellence Awards are available now.
This is the second year for these awards, with seven different categories available for nominations…
- Construction/Development
- Partner (Association or Nonprofit)
- Restaurant/Food Service
- Innovation in Green Products or Services
- Hotel
- Small Business (100 or fewer employees)
- Large Business (More than 100 employees)
