Tonight, the world will participate in the World Wildlife Fund’s Earth Hour. Washington is taking part in this year’s events by turning off the lights for an hour at the Washington Monument, National Cathedral, several local businesses and government buildings.
If you plan on participating in Earth Hour by turning your own lights off for an hour this evening, but you aren’t too keen on sitting in the dark alone …
