The historic Eastern Market building on Capitol Hill closed two years ago after a fire gutted the building. Now, the centerpiece of the DC landmark has been restored and is open for business.
The building renovations cost $22 million and include upgraded heat/air conditioning, restrooms, Wi-Fi, and fire sprinklers. New space for art and cultural activities was also added.
