Although museums may be seen as monoliths of tradition, it may not be long before a new generation of curators is confidently leading the field in a newly sustainable direction. The George Washington University Museum Studies graduate department is embracing environmental issues in social concern, providing the inaugural ‘Green Museum’ class on sustainable museum practices and burgeoning improvements in the field.

The National Building Museum hosts a lot of great discussions and exhibits on sustainable cities & construction.
